African cichlids like large mouth bass?

Recently I went to my lfs and they had an african cichlid that looked exactly like a large mouth bass, I even thought it was one at first glance! Can any one Id it and include some pictures. I would like to put some in my new 75 gallon tank

You could be talking about any number of Tyrannochromis, Nimbochromis, or any other large hap species. Pictures on your end would help greatly with an ID, or at least a description of the fish.

Okay, I'm pretty sure it is a tyrannochromis macrostoma. Could you tell me about the care of these cichlids?

Then what's a cichlid in the same family that is green with a large black stripe down the middle? Some macrostoma were like that.
