I live in Queens NY. I am looking to stock a 150 and a 40. I know all the pet shops around and the African Cichlid selection is pretty week. I am looking for fish from Lake Tanganyika. Nothing smaller then 1 1/2 inches. Does anyone know a place or a breeder I can go to in Queens / Long Island area ?? Thanks MFK

Monster Aquarium?

Edit,I have always liked the sight of a school of Paracyprichromis nigripinus but you might have to end up getting your fish from online sources as Africans don't seem to be very popular right now compared to other cichlids.

All the fish eat like crazy.I have about 10 tropheus in the tank. I tried other cichlids but got tired of them pretty quickly. These Tanganyika Fish have been my favorite for 20 plus years now. Every time I switch and try a different type of fish,I regret getting rid of the Africans. Its kind of fun trying to find them. But again most places have very small specimens which are ridiculous for a large aquarium.
