african cilichid behavior

hii there laitely ive noticed alot of holes apearing on the bottom of my tank there about 4 cm deep by 5cm wide my africans are only fry is this them making new hiding spots or something else?

yes....they like digging....at least mbuna, and its just little divits...not like they are eating through the glass or something...lol
