I was thinking of setting up a 20 gallon tank for some African clawed and I was wondering if anyone had set up tanks for these guys before any pics would be appreciated would also like to know what kind of substrate and decor I could use.

I have a 5.5 gal tank in the kitchen with 5 dwarf clawed frogs. A small submersible heater and a tiny hob filter for filtration. Sand substrate with some plastic plants and 2 fake drift wood pieces. The frogs like to hide under the drift wood. A similar setup should work for clawed frogs.

Make sure the tank is covered as well. One of mine got out this weekend. Must have somehow gotten out between the edge of the tank and glass top.

I have one that i have grown from a grow 'a' frog kit when i was in pre-school. It is in a 10g with water about 1/3 full. I don't have any decor in my tank, but they are pretty easy so i would suggest whatever u think looks best.

Like spotfin said you want to make sure they cant get out, mine jumps a good 4in sometimes.
