This weekend I picked up 2 female albino African clawed frogs. They will be moved into a larger tank in a few weeks. Anyway, the previous owner got them from someone who was moving and couldn't take them. She had them for about 3 years. They have been fed the ZooMed frog and tadpole pellets this entire time. These pellets are rather small, so I want to include more of a varied diet for the frogs. Would Hikari Sinking Carnivore pellets be a good food? I feed these to my fw rays. I have some Reptomin floating sticks to try, and will pick up some earthworm too.
And a question about filtration. The tank they are in currently has a small hob filter running. Knowing that these frogs are sensitive to sound and vibration, I was wondering if one of these would be better: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3579+3580+16742&pcatid=16742 Reviews say this filter is super quiet.
