Recently purchased two ADF from Petsmart, which introduced columnaris into my aquarium, killing my Betta before they died. Frogs were bought on shipping day, store got 12 frogs and all were gone in 3 hours. Unfortunately you cannot wait for the sick ones to die before you buy them out here. Have looked at online suppliers and most either have a minimum order of $30, or charge $50 or over in shipping fees

Shipping is so high since they are overnighted. Our store has them at all times, med and xl. Idk how i would mail them and it not cost a lot. I think they are like couple dollors. Petsmart SHOULD get there fish on thursdays, but i could be wrong.
They get them on Fridays here. Id probably have to get there exactly when the truck arrives, because the truck arrived at noon, I got there at 2 and there were only 3 out of 12 left. Am a bit leery of buying from petsmart again, since the two i bought died after 2 days and also made my betta sick, but that may be because i got the very last of the shipment. I sure learned my lesson about quarantining. i know ADFs need pristine water, but i doubt it was a quality issue as my cherry shrimp are healthy and active as can be. My bf said he is going to get me a betta for valentines day, by then the columnaris should be gone (or so teh internets tells me) and i bought a 1 gal. betta bowl (prison) to use as a quarantine/hospital tank. The betta is going to come from petco this time, they still keep them in cups, but the water isnt dosed with methylene blue and they carry HM and Plakat bettas
