Very hard to keep, only eat suspended algae, micro thing-ies

Which species do they have? Google Atya gabonensis and see if that's what they have.

Very difficult to breed in captivity. The larvae go through several planktonic stages before metamorphosing into post-larvae (miniature shrimp) and assuming a benthic lifestyle. They need brackish water to full strength saltwater for spawning and larval development..

yup thats it

They are not that hard to keep in a planted and well conditioned tank, they will take saturated flake food and love brine shrimp, especially the naupuli.

lol i didnt get one:cry:. i stocked my african cichlid tank instead.

I 've got one of these. Mine is about 6 inch. Care is about the same as the asian one. They seek a place in the tank with a current where they sit all day filtering food out of the water. They are white when just shed, after a while they turn darker untill they get darkbleu.
