African Featherfin Catfish

Okay, so I am thinking of getting rid of my striped raphael catfish to make room for this species. Some of what I have read states that these things are aggressive while other reading materials say that they can work in a community tank with fish too large to fit in their mouths. Will it work with my stock?

1x Clown Knife
1x Datnoid
1x Fire Eel
1x Jade Sleeper Goby
1x Ornate Bichir
1x Gold Severum
1x Blood Red Parrot
5x Silver Dollars
7x Clown Loaches

From what I have read, this catfish maxes out at 8 inches, is this true? Have any of you seen them larger than this?
 
i have one that is about 10 inches and he is teratorial with my smaller syno cats but other than that its peaceful

Is it a very active fish or does it hide all the time like striped raphael catfish? Will it suck on the slimecoat of bichirs?
 
all 4 of mine hide most of the day but come out when the lights go out. but im not sure about them sucking the slimecoat off of other fish
 
Featherfin Syno's get 8.7" but i hope if thats all the stock you got a nice tank..
 
my featherfin is about 10 inches long
