My african featherfin catfish has just gotten a white streak down the one side of him he's acting normal nothing weird and it's not fuzzy I think he might have scraped it on this bell decor cave I have that he has gotten to big for can anyone help me out I don't know if there prone to something idk about

Me eupterus has gotten nicks and scrapes occasionally, I think they were from Manzanita wood and my pleco

My feather fin gets those white scrapes from driftwood or getting told off by my jack dempsey. They usually heal in a day or two. As long as your water is nice and clean you should have nothing to worry about.

My syno cat gets scrapes often too.

Thanks for the replies suprisingly non of my fish mess with him but the jack dempsey and jaguar are always arguing lol

It could be LLE - lateral line disease.

My featherfin gets them from scraping along the driftwood. Does not seem to bother him and it is usually healed up by the next day.
