African Frogs

I found these three frogs today and was curious as to why they look like this. They are 6 years old and been in a 75 gallon their entire life so far. I didnt buy them untill I knew what the deal was with them.

Xenopus laevis. The huge one has some major bloat, likely caused by an edema because of kidney or liver failure. Don't buy that one unless you have a specialist you can take it to, to puncture and drain the fluids, although salt baths have been known to reverse the disease.

I've seen that problem before. It will eventually die. It's better to stay away from it.
