African giraffe catfish, anyone have one?

I hared They are illegal to import into the USA, does anyone have one that they got before the ban. My friend has one it's well over a foot long.

Seen quite a few pictures on here of them, and people have them.

Can buy them in a LFS not far from me, but I'm in the UK, not illegal here.

There is a list somewhere on this site of all the banned fish in the US, forget where.

Cool fish, would love one, but they get to big for me, 2' is kind of the max I can house.

my big boy who passed away a few months ago was bought here, and my new little guy was purchased just a few weeks ago, not nearly as cheap as 20 . But my lfs has one in right now as a matter of fact, almost bought him, can never have too many of these guys.

yea i lucked out they had the 3" i got and one about 1" asking $25.99 and the guy sold i to me for $20 and an endli bichir abour 3.5" for $17...i thought it was good day, they will fill out my new 220 nice one day
