Hey,

Took some pics of my tank yesterday, not the greatest pics but i thought i would post them anyway.

85lt tank (Getting a 180lt, possibly a 200lt sometime in april)
2 internal filters.
3 F. Rostratus
3 C. Moorii
2 red fin kadango's
2 Pictus cats
1 Synodontis eupterus

Beautiful tank. The white sand really brings out the colors, makes me appreciate even the humblest colored cichlid. the pictus is a nice addition that you would not except to see.
 
I agree a Pictus isn't the common fish to find with Africans. However, I worked with a guy that kept a Pictus in his 85g acrylic hex with Red Shoulders and OB peacocks. He never had any problems with them.

I have always been a fan of the Pictus cat. The look good and stay active.
 
Yeah i love pictus cats, most people wouldnt put non africans in a cichlid tank but i love em and have never had any problems with them.

Nice looking juvies :thumbsup: Thanx for sharing.

We have fossies and Kadangos, they get big, real big and pretty quickly. The red fins just do not get as thick as the rostratus but do get almost as large. The dolphins get big but take a long time putting on size, well our are anyways.

You are gonna need a 6' or so tank with those guys, we have ours inna 210G
