Considering you've got an 80gl mbuna tank, maybe it's a type of Mbuna?No, there's a spot on its side....Throwing this out there....a very pale Mouthbrooder, or Red Jewel? Golden Mojarra? Dunno!, ran out of ideas! More photos please? :confused: :) :popcorn:
 
And the fish is...... a male Ps Saluosi :D He's colored down due to a more dominant fish in the tank.

It just goes to show when IDing malawis how much a colored down fish can throw off an ID. Just a thought.
 
Is it true that holding females will sometimes show blue coloration? I read somewhere that they will to scare off potential egg robbers, but haven't ever seen it.
