Finally enticed my new af knifefish out (blood worms do the trick lol) and he actually stayed out for a while after all the food was eaten.
but after a while, he started rubbing against the sand. He did this on both sides.
He is kept with only 2 senagalus bichirs. There is nothing visible (like ich) on him at all. Tank has only been running for a few days. Got him at petsmart, and he has been in the petsmart tank for more than 2 weeks (noticed it because he was twice the size as the other african knifefish he was with, and the fish person back there told me he has been there for a while).
any thoughts? I think I am just overeacting... as I have had other fish rub for no reason. But, better safe than sorry.
