So I had a sal not too long ago who finally died after jumping the tank.. I would like another lung but I'm thinking about an African or Aussie depending on availability and comparability.. I have 2 tanks I'd like to keep one in. A 6'x30" x18" with stingrays. hystrix females and a hybrid male. Or a 6'x18"x30" with 3 hydrolycus tatuaia a Baft and a wolf fish. Should i risk it in any of these tanks or go with another SAL?

Yep,go for the AUL if you can find and afford one.A few years ago a former vendor here had them for around five hundred dollars....look at what they are going for now.
tank mates at ur own risk... had my lung 6 yrs. hes killed 4-5 fish... not a terrible track record lol... i will say its interesting who he chooses 2 slice in half one day...randomly... but usually plays nice. ive housed him with anything and everything over the years. current stock in his 230 are 2 florida gar,1 trop gar, sailfin pleco, syno hybrid, 3 raphael cats and a flagtail... group has been together for 2 yrs... 1 8-10" geo was chomped in that time.
