Hi I’ve had this African Lungfish for 3 weeks or so now and just noticed what kinda looks like a pimple or wart? It doesn’t have a fuzzy looking texture and it’s just the one “pimple” right behind his back tentacle.

Can apply some MB or hydrogen peroxide to the area with a qtip. Monitor it.
Check the other side for a similiar “thing”… if theres nothing over there… thats its anus ???… it would b on one side only, right behind a back leg as uve pictured. Havent figured out if there b holes are on a certain side per species or the same side every time… but i do know for sure thats where there located. Most “new” lung owners go through this problem. Dont b pokin it with a q tip or applying medication if thats the only “marking” behind a leg on one of its sides…
There’s only the one it does resemble a Bhole I’ll verify and make sure I see poop coming out of it if I can ? thanks for the help my worries are better now.
no prob man ?… thats def. what it is lol… the “odd” part is it can be on either side fish to fish and thats its on a side in general and not “in the middle” ?… Pretty crazy.
