Didn't feel like setting up an African Cichlid tank, so I decided to go with some oddballs. So far, I have 12 Congo Tetras and an African Brown Knife. What else do you think will be good in there? I was thinking of a Delhezi. It's a 50g.

nice tank. more decor would really make the tank stand out, also make the fish less stressed

:iagree: Ctenopoma acutirostre look freakin' sweet when they grow up.

Agree Leopard Ctenopoma, how about African Spiny Eels (Mastacembelus liberiensis), some kind of elephant nose or other mormyrids, African Butterfly Fish, there's alot of different Syno Cats also.

I think a bacground would be really nice
Other then that its a nice tank though
Great job. also maybe some more
hiding places for the fish. Good Luck

Ditto on the African butterflies, they are really interesting fish, and their living at the top part of the water really keeps them out of the way of most of the other fish.

can't have an African tank without some Ctenopoma

Definitely! How could I forget?! I guess I haven't seen them available as much. You know..."Out of Sight, Out of Mind"

I definitely want to put some more decor in the tank. I'm just cleaning some rocks right now.

For an "African Oddball Tank", I would say definitely two Rope Fish and several upside-down catfish. COOL!!!
