wow! they can get to 7"!! would love to see pics. i guess this would kind be a good fish for someone who wants an Auratus, but not as aggressive. I like it alot more than the blueberry hybrids they sell off. thanx. i'll try asnd find adult pics today. If i can grow it out , it would be good with an e-cat

I had a p. crabo pair for almost 3 years. The male was a shade under 9", and the female checked in at 7+". Unfortunately a power outage whipped out the entire African setup I had. Beautiful, beautiful fish. Pretty well behaved as far as Africans of that size go. I have yet to find a good looking pair since then.

They are Pseudothropheus crabro common name Bumble Bee Cichlids I had a pair of them. My male was 9" and was the meanest African I have ever had. My female was around 4-5" here last cutch I got 125 fry. And I have all but 5 left. They are 1-2". They are great cichlids I have looked at them in lfs and for the most part they all look like crap. I got mine from a breeder in Gainesville Florida and right after I got mine, he lost all his fish from some power outage. After I knew, my female was holding I took her out of the 125 that my pair was in and put her in a 55. Less than a week later the top was left open and my male jumped out.
