I'm having trouble deciding. I'm not going any larger than a 29/30 tank, so I need the fish to stay pretty small. To make matters worse, I'm even thinking about community fish too, which would make my selection some dwarf SA/CA, but I really like Africans too, and I haven't owned any for a while. Any fish suggestions for a tank this size?

Yea, I don't want that. For Africans I was thinking Peacocks or Shell Dwellers...

Shell dwellers would be good. They stay small and are not too aggressive. You could also go with kribensis or other African riverine cichlids as well. I loved my pair of kribensis, they had great color and spawned regularly without being vicious to the rest of the tankmates.

Here is what I did with my 29g. :D
