African peacock with Zebra nerites

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I only have experiences with mbuna and nerites. It did not end well. I added a horned nerite for algae eating. Since he had the spikes the mbuna left him alone. All went well for a few days but then he crawled out on the sand and the mbuna flipped him over and killed him.
I'm really not sure with peacocks since I have never kept them.

I keep nerites in my planted tank and my tang tank, but my experience with malawi is that they will eventually eat the snails. If they are not too expensive for you, I would buy a couple and see how they do. Maybe if your tank is not overstocked and your fish are well fed, they will leave the snails alone. If they work out - they are great algae eaters - always active.
