I have my African Pike in a 180 with some Pbass. He doesnt seem to love the circulation fans current. Iv only had him for about a week and he seems to do most of his hanging out near the bottom 3rd of the tank. Is this a flow issue? I thought they like some flow with areas of calm.

mines in a tank with the flow at the bottom of the tank and he stays at the top. I'd wager they aren't massive fans of flow.
Copy that. Thanks. He does like the cut shrimp when it gets moved around by the flow but doesn't seem to swim in it like the bass. I thought he would but they don't seem to want to constantly be moving. Seems weird but that fits right into the pike mentality of lie and wait
