About 2 months ago I a got a new baby clarias( which i thought was black clarias batarchus ) , during the past two month this baby grew from 3 inches to about 14 inches measured when I transferred him into a bigger tank . 11 inches growth in two months, thats insane:WHOA: !! and when he grew up I noticed that this catfish didnt look like any walking catfish clarias batrachus I ever saw , It had a rectangular head with a huge broad mouth , and a white band on the tail which didnt show when he was young ...
After research I found out that its an African sharptooth catfish Clarias gariepinus , Its a a member of the clariidae thats lives in Africa and can attain gigantic sizes , many have been caught surpassing 100 lbs in weight!!
Here are some pics of my babay turned monster :

Excellent news, friend, unless you are lamenting... Are you? I can't see any of your photos. Clarias gariepinus is not so much known for a big weight, which needs no excuses of course, but the tremendous length of 170 cm TL. Hopefully you'll fix the pics and we will see your monster. Good luck!
