Ive read they dont do well with the same species. I think the group disperses most aggression. The odd time ill see a little aggressiok between the group but for the most part they are usually all together.

That's handy. I think the same with my African knives, everyone says they are aggressive but I only see light squabbling.

Also, how big are the fish and tank? They look thick haha

They are about the length and thickness of my hand. Ive read they live a really long time and can grow to be the largest in tje genus

It seems a lot of African fish are in for the long haul. Especially polys, ctenopomas and synodontis
