hey guys i've been thinking of turning my tank into an african theme. so far i've got a poly sen an african butterfly fish, any thoughts/tips on how to acheive this a little better?

Yes you should get a bunch of flat stones and stack them to make "caves" for your fish

got that goin already. have a few natural brick style slate rocks that i have "Lincoln Logged" up in sort of a fish condo lol
Depending on size of tank, could do more polys, some type of synodontis species, congo tetra, african knife fish, some of the leaf fish/african perch species, african lungfish, and more.
It's only a 25g long. I'm getting a bigger tank in the near future. (probably a 55g) I do like leaf fish, how well would they do with a poly sen?
What kind of african theme are you talking about?? West African Stream, Congo Rapids, Congo Stream, Rift Lake, South African Bog??
cuckoo catfish are amazing if your doing a cichlid tank, i have a breeding group of three and are some of my favorite fish in my colection.
