African Tiger fish/Payara

Hi,

So I have been wanting to get a fish with nice sharp teeth and since I can't have piraña wanted to know what do you guys think would happen if I put those guys with my other fishes.

As of now just 60g I got a 8" Oscar and 13" arowana with 10 Exodon paradoxus.

i wouldnt keep a ATF or any species of ATF with any fish.

Even if you keep them feed at all time ? If I really canT then what kind of fish would u suggest ??

You will need a bigger tank in the future. Payaras get 40 lbs in the wild and Tigers can get even larger. You might work out with a gar species but they're not exactly "sabre toothed"

as far as paraya go they look mean but there wussies better kept with more calm fish of the same sizr or larger, ive never kept an atf so i will leave that up to more exp keepers. unless your upgrading soon i wouldnt add anything else in your tank your a hair overstocked with just the oscar . good luck and happy fishkeeping

I have been thinking about gars but aren't alligator gars illegal in Cali ?? And don't they get bigger than ATFs??

I actually was thinking to get the the ATF or payara after I go for +150g. I didnt know payaras are calm thanks for the info. So if they are calm you don't think I can keep them with those guys ofcourse in a bigger tank.
