African Tiger Fish Question??

Hi all

My loacl fish shop has a 5" H.Vittatus I am thinking of keeping it with my 34 Exp's will it work? I know long term it will pick of the exo's, i'm thinking of short term as i was planning on getting rid of the exos later just need an answer short term.

just a query, how big a tank are your exo's in?

They are in a 110 uk gal 5ft lenght.

if i get the african tiger yes,

i need to know if i will be ok to keep it with the exo's at 5"? will the exo's try to it out?

Exo's rarely get 5" Maybe more along the lines of 3-4" I wouldn't try it.

sorry i meant the AFT at 5" the exo's range from 2" to 4".

ok i thought id try an experiment to see how my exo's would react to the aft if get it, i tried similar size fish and one that is he fast moving fish, i went for a lrage danio, i stuck it yesterday lunch time all seemed well but then later in the day i saw the danio hidding at the top behind the filter in take, i though it mught just have been adjusting to the tank, wrong i looked closer and it had nips then later yesterday i saw it trying to swim across the tank and was attacked by the exo's, it is still alive today with more damage but hiding!! so i this tells me that the aft will get attacked and stressed so no aft in with the exo's unless i get rid of them.

whats the goin price 4 an atf about 4'' ? my lfs has one 4 150 bucks that seems like alot to me, my vamps were only 30 bucks and i think theyre sweeter lookin. should i snag the atf?

the ones i have seen are around 5" and they are going for £50 thats around $100 i guess. Offer them $100 worth a try and worth getting at that price $150 does sound alot.
