african with south american

could a african brown knife live with south american cichlids like firemouths or female jack dempsy

I don't think they're aggressive enough to stand up tp those guys.

thats what i thought is there another knife smaller than a clown that can go with cichlids

Notopterus Noptoperus. They get to about 12" and they can be pretty awnery if they want to.

i had a notopterus notopterus that was around the 12" mark and he was pretty protective of his hiding place and i think would be good with smaller ca cichlids like con's,firemouths etc also would keep the population down a bit!!!!

yes but i've be having a hard time finding those i've heard they are sometimes miss labled as african brown knifes but i haven't seen any
