What are some good small a.cichlids that could live in a group in a 10g? I gave my buddy one of mine I had laying around and we got to stock it. I am only knowledgeable about fish that are huge.

I would imagine shellies like Neolamp. multifasciatus could fit in that tank, but even that seems a bit cramped.

eh... Maybe I'll look into finding another idea for the tank. I thought there were some cool ones that only got to be 1"-2". I shall keep searching

One fish we've started carrying, you can get from Toyin, is Microctenapoma ansorgii, fasciolatum or congicum. I took home four of each a few days ago. But they all stay in the 2.5" range, are relatively peaceful (except to ghost shrimp!) and pretty cool looking...

How about going the apistogramma route obviously not african, but if you don't like shellies and want small stunning fish...

(I just picked up 3 sets I can't believe how cool these little guys are though come mating time make sure you have dither fish.)

almost need to go dwarf cockatoo cichlid (n/s american) maybe 1-2 yellow labs or similar sized african...but then again...

i have n. bevis and n. caudopunctus in my 150. both are interesting fish that would do well in a small tanl
