As a student, I go away every summer and work an interesting job in the bush. Right before I left this summer (like a week before; too good to pass up), I got a 130 gallon tank, a big upgrade from my 55g one.
I had it running for a week before I had to leave, as well as move all my stuff and setup my other tanks in my new house! It was hard leaving my new fish room, but I had to.
So, after 4 months I finally get to see all my fish tomorrow
I'm so pumped, especially to see the growth on them all as well as think about aquascaping the 130g.
I'm always paranoid when I leave, but a good friend actually came in daily to feed them, and I had a guy cleaning my tanks every couple weeks. Didn't have any deaths or problems, and now that I'm doing a masters, I won't have to be away for the next couple summers
I think I'm going to sit in front of my tanks for a solid day when I arrive
