So i noticed some stringy white poo coming out of my yellow lab. Still eating, not skinny etc. I decided to dose with prazi. What the bottle doesn't say is what to do after the dosing period. Do you just let water changes dilute it out of the system or add activate carbon to the filter? First time using it, thanks.

It breaks down in the water column after a few days, but still best to run carbon and do a water change. It can take a few rounds to knock parasites out.

Thanks, do you usually wait the 5 to 7 days it recommends then do a wc then add another dose? Or run carbon for a day or 2 to make sure it's removed before dosing again?

For prazi, I wait 5 days. Usually one round is enough.

For levamisole, you have to do a couple doses spaced out.

Overall it depends on what you are treating for, waiting 7 days then dosing again should catch most life cycles.
