Hey after my bichir eats he gets a plump part of him I'm guessing its food. How do you know how much to feed without over feeding?

That's how I handle it.I try to feed my fish early in the day so they have the rest of the day to work it off and digest their food.Next day,repeat.

You have just enlightened me as to why my featherfin catfish has a huge round belly. He can now hoover up pellets whole so they must be expanding in his belly. Cant be a good thing. Ill try that soaking method from now on.
