Okay, I'm cycling my new SW setup w/live sand and about 50lbs of live rock.

My real question is whats the easiest and most economical way to water changes and keep my specific gravity on point???

I unfortunately don't have room to store any premixed salt water.

Any suggestions or insight????

what size tank???

Sorry bro, its a 30gal. I didn't want to dive into anything big since I'll be buying a house soon.

Lighting is comming before the weekend. 130watt coralife, enough for now.

I also have limited space. What I have done is get a 5 gallon water jug and keep my premix in there. It doesn't take up too much room, and it's the easiest way to keep my sp. gravity exact.

How do you check the SG in a container like that???

If you have a refractometer, testing the water is really easy. Good idea!

A refractometer or a hydrometer is the best friend you will have in this process.

does your lfs sell salt water? if it does then that would be the easiest way
