Okay so yesterday I went to repairs to help him drain the 300 and he gave me 3 peacocks and a large hap and a front... nice front too... anyways...

I was think of moving my mbuna downstairs into my new 120 I am picking up...

then put my fronts (all still lil) into the 135 with round river rocks and sand up stairs...

Then have I have some peacocks left over with some tangs in the other 120...

I need some advice...

should I put some trophus in with the fronts and keep the comps downstairs in the peacock tang tank?

or put some comps and some buffalo heads in with the fronts (if I can get my newly acquired buffalo group to spawn)

Remember I will be adding another large tank in the show room downstairs...

I pick up the buffalo heads and 120 when I get back from the honeymoon... don't tell the soon to be wife, but that is more exciting than the cruise...;)

i'de put the fronts, peacocks and buf heads together and move the others to the 120

troph are only nice looking as juvies to me. but i am looking for one just because i have never had one. if i get one, it might change my opinion. keep them with the fronts, both are tangs and both have peaceful temperments. peacocks could go to either tank.
im not a fan of the comps either.

other than the trophus you sound like my lady... see hates comps... but love them both... there are a lot of great looking trophus... they are the harder ones to keep but way worth it...

why dont you do a tang setup....ie your fronts, trophs and comps together and your set.............maybe when the fronts get monster then remove the comps!!

put a few real big rocks in there (keep it simple) and simulate a nice tanganikan rock shelf!!

subdue the lighting and black out the back of the tank...........it will look like a scene from their home lake!!:D :headbang2

I have found that trophus and comps really do not like eachother...

fine then put the comps in with the mbunas and make your other tank a tropheus / front paradise.................it will seriusly look awesome and be sure to pls post pics !!!!:headbang2
