After reading all of these horror stories

common NO. feared yes. its just one of those things that when it happens and pplpost about it eveyone hears about it and it makes it sound like all tanks are going to crack. but there are people here that have had tanks up and runnig for decades and not a single problem

i have a 30 year old tank in my living room ive seen brand new oceanic money pits let go upon set up ... ya never know i guess

The stand.........square, level.....Built right and kept dry......No worries, yep it happens. My 180 has been up for 5 years..no issues - all glass bought on e-bay.......Dave
