This is the site I posted on before I found this site. It's a fish snob thread. Here is a standard response:

"You have SIX Neon Tetra's in a 500 gallon tank?! That is much too small for this species. This species needs at least 15,000 gallons for swimming space, exotic plants that you can't afford, and the minimum school size is 300 fish. You should get a much larger tank or quit fishkeeping all together and kill yourself."

OK, I exaggerated a bit but they pretty much tell you to get a larger tank no matter what because their's is bigger than yours. Everybody always says that their's is bigger than mine...oops, I digress...I forgot I was talking about tanks.

their site lags to hell

everytime i got on there my interent freezes up

I haven't gone there since I found this site. If they think my tank is too small then I will shove it in their ass sideways.

I am not a fan of overstocking but they are militant. One guy told me that an aqurium should closely resemble a fishes natural environment to the point that the fish don't know they're in an aquarium. I told him if that is the case then his fish would be better served in a lake in Africa.

People like that need to realize: In my aquarium I manage the water quality every day. There are no pollutants being dumped into their home. they are not at risk of being eaten, usually. They have no problem finding food. And most of all, if it weren't for aquarists, most of them wouldn't even be alive. You would think they were making a case against fishkeeping.
