Age of Bamboo's?

Is there a rough estimate of size to age or anything? My local supplier ordered me in a 7" coral cat but the wholesalers sent the wrong fish and I got a 2ft female brown banded bamboo.

I know they mature around 2ft, but any idea how old she is? All I know is she came into the wholesalers from a supplier in Singapore.

Actually a Brown banded Bamboo is basically a sub-adult at 2ft long. They aren't fully mature until they are about 27-30 inches.

But in terms of age - I would say the shark is roughly about 2 years old.

Alright cool thanks. She's all settled in her new home now. Only paid £35 for her as well since that's what the price should of been for the coral cat. 2ft Bamboo's normally go for £250 around here so happy days for me!

She doesn't seem too bothered about lying out in the open despite plenty of caves available for her.
