My female hoggie Alice dropped 15 slugs a month ago. She is about three years old, I thought that was a bit young to breed! Her future mate is half her size right now; would it be better to look into another male closer to her size if I intend to breed her later this year, or next year?
Age/size for breeding hognose snakes

How big is she? If she's a full grown female you're going to have a hard time finding a male her size, there's a pretty significant size difference between an adult male and an adult female. I've never bred hognose snake before but id think it would be size and weight that would play more of a factor in safe breeding over age.
