personally i think it comes down to how they are stored and kept... i would like to see some hard scientific proof on whats in this video...


your more likely to have your tire blow out if your balance is off, allignment off, under inflated over inflated or if they are dry rotted... my cars are always perfectly aligned and i keep the tires properly inflated and at the time i balanced them once a month(perk to working at a shop)...

having "brand" new tires cant hurt... but keeping everything else in check is key... atleast with your yearly inspection check your alignment... every oil change get your tires rotated and balanced and every 2 weeks check air pressure... those simple things can keep you safe...
