Hey everybody again,

A question about water. Some of you may have reason to collect some water. I have a couple questions, how long can u keep aged water for? What about if you have a water in a container with powerheads and air pumps circulating the water? If you keep water for too long will it go bad? If it does how does it go bad?

What I do is to cover my aged water and I just aerate it 1-2 days before using it to increase the dissolve oxygen. Aged water will not go bad as long as it is not exposed to other contaminants.

Agreed

what about if i left water in a barrel for like one or two months? The reason being, if say i took a holiday for a month. And i wanted my house mate to change water for me in an aged water container. Would the water go bad in 1 or 2 months?

i wouldnt think so but i dont know 4 sure sorry i would like to know tho

It depends, clean water itself doesnt go bad.If stuff falls in it or theres phosphates or nitratesin your water supply you can get an algae or bacteria bloom,or if something falls in it.

oh thanks for the info

So you guys actually save your water from the PWC's???? and then reuse it later on? I guess with massive tanks you would have to, keep the water bill down
