I have two Ageneiosus marmoratus I need to rehome. They are about 6-7".
These are awesome cats that usually become active once acclimated and thrive in aquariums with a powerhead or strong current. These cats don't even reach 12" as well.
The downside is, the widest point in these cats' body is their mouth. Mine ate my 5" Nandus nandus, various fancy plecos, 4.5" angelfish (seriously!) and a 5" red tail vampire tetra. These fish need a tank at least 4'x1' for the time being, but if you want to mix them with appropriately sized fish, the tank will have to be larger.
Last time I seen these, they were 75 dollars each on aquabid plus shipping. When I saw these locally, they were 100 dollars each. I am looking to get 100 for the pair (they appear to both be females). Pick up only, or I can meet up in Niagara or Erie county.
