Hi I got a 6 inch red wolf around a week ago. I couldn't put my new wolf in my 30 gallon bichir tank because i soon releazed that the senegal bichirs were extremely aggresive . My polys are only half the size as the wolf. I had to move the wolf into 10 gal tank temporarly. Once i moved the wolf into the 10 gal, the wolf never eats. The previous owner says that he eats shrimp and floating cichlid pellet. I fed him those but the wolf won't eat. People suggested me to feed him live food. I don't want to feed him live food to increase the aggresiveness of the woilf because I am planning to put him back in the 30 gal tank asap. The wolf won't eat so I can't put him back in the 30 gal since He might kill my bichirs. Also the bichir will attack the wolf. Is there anyway to decrease the aggresiveness of the bichirs? I only feed them feeders once in a long time. Also if I put the wolf in the bichir tank, will it forget of its "peacefulness" and timidness and get revenge on the bichirs. My wolf is supposed to be very shy because he used to be kept with larger fish. What should I do? A long and detailed answer would be awesome.

Thanks

dude If i cramp you in a small tank. You would get cranky even if your roommate is a super hot babe. Please upgrade your tank.

R U talking about the 30 gal or 10 gal???

Both are equally small. I won't go any smaller than a 40g for a senegal

You never answered if the tank was fully cycled. The 30g will work for a Senegal, the red wolf really needs a tank that is 18" wide. A 40 or 50 breeder will work fine.

A 10g is way to small for a 6" Red Wolf, these are very active fish.....

The 10 gal tank has been cycled for less than 2 weeks. so, if I put the wolf in a 30 gal. Will the polys and wolf fight?
