I traded my friend a 3in female festae for his parachromis friedrichsthalii and my jaguar won't stop harassing it I changed decor arrangements also both fish are about 6 inches

If you shook up the decor, give it a day or 2 unless they are severely hurting each other. If they don't settle down, you may have to divide the tank or separate them permanently for the safety of both fish.

I'd also try turning the lights off, if you haven't tried that yet as well.

Well I don't want the jag due to it not being a female so I will most likely sell it if that happens
Also the lights have been off for 2months the bulb died

two male parachromis is pretty much a guaranteed conflict. find him a female and its gravy. male freddy's are noted hornballs.
