All my arowanas right now are docile. Some more so that i want . Because of that, i kind of miss other aggressive aros that ive had.

What kind of aggressive aro behaviour have you noticed on your aros?

Ive had aros bite me, good thing it only caught my fingernail, but amazingly my nail was scratched by the sharp teeth. This same arow would occasionally catch my parrots ( the only surviving tankmate ) grab them and shake the parrots like a crocodile would do with its prey. Very aggressive !

I have one right now. my arrow is 18 inches long. It killed several tank mates such as 10 inches clown knife, later a hand size red devil and two weeks ago a foot long red tail catfish.

I have never truelly seen an aggresive osteoiglosid. Don't confuse aggression with predation. Some aro's have bigger eyes than others. But they no more look on their prey with the same aggresion as you would of an apple pie at a picnick.

Do you eat the pie cause you hate it ? Or just because it tastes good ?

Not to mention the pie is easy to catch...

i tend to disgress as some aros do have an aggressive tendency. Some have a tendency to protect their territory like my former jardini. It would have a bulging stomach but will still grab its tankmates by its head and flail it around. . just because it saw the tankmate as an intruder to its territory.

It is a silver arrow. It just hates to have tank mates. will kill them with bite marks but will no eat them

Thats for real

My aro will only go after what will fit in its mouth. And once it thought my figer would. And it hurt. Its over 24" and doesnt mind tankmates but will eat whatever it can.

I wouldnt trade it for anything
