Had 4 Channa stewarti cf barca in there own tank for around 3months now and i have noticed alot of chasing and aggression any ideas on what i should do?? i dont want to loose any of them and i was hoping to get a pair.
Does anyone know how to sex them and what age they can be sexed at??
The remedy remains the usual, which is a very well structured tank and lots of hiding places. Depends on how you do it and understand each of the four fish's requirements in the current tank. There might be one or two strong bullies in the 4 and assuming your fish are still sub adults I'd give a lot more attention to the bullied ones. What temperature are they at and how often are they being fed? Stewartii can be tentatively sexed when they're over a year old and when they're around 6'' depending on various factors.

The tank is well structured a there are plenty of hiding places the fish are only 3 or 4 months old and around 4 inchs in length maby slightly more, the tank temp is currently at 21degrees i feed them once a day sometimes every 2 days
