I have the group pared down to a male/female pair now ... I wouldn't call them a bonded pair. They have lived together in a 120 gal for the last few months without killing each other. On the whole, they seem to get along but the male (bigger by a couple of inches) seems to want to beat the h... out of the female on occasion. There is lots of cover and two separate hiding places.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I could do to eliminate the aggression. Also any suggestions as to a species of fish that could go in the tank to spread the aggression with any of them killed. I have tried smaller fish in with them and they kill anything that I put in.

Thanks Fred

I would try some kind of dither fish like large barbs or silver dollars

I second Killerfish add a few nice sized convicts, silver dollars, or veja. Convicts are cheep and can provide a food source when they mate .Adding cover (jars, slate, pots, plants, wood) If they don't see each other they won't get ticked off. Move the layout of the tank around when you add the new fish and make sure they are large enough to defend themselves, as well as having places to hide.
