Well got home earlier from work and sat in front of the tank preparing my marble some shrimp and pellets. I notice the ray was staking a clown loach and it actually tried to pounce on it, but the loach was super fast. After that it seemed as if the loach was teasing the ray to chase him, so I decided to interfere by throwing in the stuffed shrimp chunks. After the ray finished eating he swam around and tried to pounce on my gar. I know he would eat to loach if he caught it, but the gar is a different story. I just thought it was interesting and decided to share.

I used to think my gar was safe too till my rays removed his lower jaw and continued to disprove the myth that Gars scales are ray proof.
Might wanna move the loach, if the ray gets it, and in turn gets the subocular spines you might loose them both.
