Aggression question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aggression is mostly related to territory issues, which is because of their need to protect their food gathering areas... so... possibly. Also, lowering the temperature will cause them to burn less calories thus requiring less food thus acting less aggressive. It all depends on the overall dispositions of your individual fish.

Yes it does.

But some species such as kenyi and auratuses act the same at ALL times and they are some of most aggressive rift lake species.

Definitely... Mostly aggression is from general temperament of fish and living space, but feeding more then once assures the fish that they don't have to "fight" as hard for there food from a one feed a day they can eat more peacefully knowing there is more to come
