My convicts had babies... Again... And now that my fish are bigger, I know if I don't get them out, someone's going to end up dead. I don't have anywhere to rehome my fish other than the LFS. I'm at a loss. My Texas and my hybrid want those babies, bad.

Not sure what the question is. Either separate the cons so they wont spawn or get another tank and find an outlet for the fry. Really your only two options. Cons will breed like rabbits....

Just let it be the convicts will protect them best but sooner or later the other fish will get the fry and life will go on. But also my fish were a bit larger then the convicts.

I just don't want my convicts dead. I'd rather rehome them. I believe they have no chance against my larger fish. My boucourti/bifa hybrid, my Texas, and my red devil. They're actively trying to get the babies and the aggression is very high in the tank.

I had to remove most other fish from my Festae pair when they spawned because of this. I had several other tanks to use though. I'd pick what you want to do....spawn the cons or have a more peaceful tank. The cons will spawn like clockwork once they start and the other fish will try to eat the fry.
