Aggressive Channel cat,

I was lucky to find a nice 8-9" blue channel cat at my local LFS,he was a little beat up,but the price was petty good.So i put him in my tank with my other fish(14" Lima,8" Lima,9-10" TSN/RTC,14"-15" Jadini and a 8" inch Bala shark).This cat seems to be the most aggessive fish in the tank,he is not beating anyone up but he does chase the other fish occaisianally and i have noticed some ripped fins and such on some of the fish,are channels usually aggessive??lets see some pics of your channels if you have any!!!Thanks!!

Not really, i got one that is 6'', and pretty much leaves my other fish alone. All mind does is hide.

Mine has killed everything that I have put in with him, including an apple snail.... how he ate that Im still wondering....
Ever since his pictus buddy, and chewie the pleco died... he hasnt let anything in the tank live for more than a day or 2.

After 8-9 inches they get really mean. At least in my experiences. Bullying even large fish. They need a lot of space and even then, they might just do whatever they want.
