A couple of weeks ago I got a new black crappie from a local hatchery, its a big female between 12" and 13". The first week I had no real problems with her, she ate fine. Then for the last week she's been showing some wierd behaviors for a crappie, she chases and acts aggressively to most of the sunfish in the tank. She only ignores my big hybrid, my two perch, and my bullheads. She even chases my two large green sunfish. In all my time keeping crappies and being on mfk I've never heard of any crappie acting like this. I was wondering if anybody else has been in a similiar situatuion before? Should I do anything?

Any fish can be aggressive.
I would imagine there is a better chance of aggression if the fish was wild caught and or had to constantly compete for food.
Maybe its her time of the months LOL
